The window starts on the first click through your link and is enforced against a stored timestamp, not the cookie itself, so it cannot be extended by editing browser data. Whoever sent that first click keeps the credit even if the same visitor later arrives through a different link within 30 days. Once their first order lands, every order after that is credited to you for as long as they keep ordering, independent of the window.
No. Referring yourself is not eligible, and orders that do it earn no commission. If you are not sure whether a particular arrangement counts, email us before you set it up and we will tell you.
