Research-use policy
On this page 7 sections
Every product in the Halotir Labs catalog is a laboratory reagent. This page explains exactly what that means, what you attest to when ordering, and what responsibilities come with handling research materials.
Intended research applications
Halotir Labs materials are supplied for legitimate scientific work: receptor-binding and signaling assays, cell-culture experiments, analytical-chemistry reference use, preclinical model systems, and comparable in-vitro laboratory applications. Product descriptions on this site summarize published research context for each compound class; they are educational, not endorsements of any particular use.
What buyers attest to
By placing an order, you confirm each of the following:
- You are at least 21 years of age.
- You are a qualified researcher, or you are purchasing on behalf of an organization engaged in legitimate research.
- All materials will be used exclusively for in-vitro research and laboratory experimentation.
- You will handle, store, and dispose of materials in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional procedures.
- You accept full responsibility for the use of any material after delivery.
Prohibited uses
Halotir Labs products may not be used, under any circumstances, for:
- Human consumption or administration of any kind
- Veterinary or animal administration
- Food, food additives, or dietary supplements
- Cosmetic formulation for human application
- Diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
We refuse and cancel orders where we have reason to believe materials are intended for prohibited use, and we may decline to sell to that buyer again.
Quality standards for research materials
Research conclusions are only as reliable as the reagents behind them. Every Halotir Labs batch is synthesized to a ≥99% purity target, verified by HPLC, identity-confirmed by mass spectrometry through independent U.S. laboratories, and released with a Certificate of Analysis. See the full quality process and how to request a batch certificate.
Proper handling guidelines
- Store lyophilized vials at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture.
- Reconstitution takes place only within a laboratory setting, under appropriate aseptic technique.
- Reconstituted material is held at 2–8 °C and used within the stability window your laboratory procedures require.
- Wear gloves and standard laboratory PPE; follow your institution’s chemical-hygiene plan.
- Dispose of unused material and containers per applicable waste regulations.
Researcher responsibility
Purchasers bear sole responsibility for confirming that their intended research complies with the laws, regulations, and institutional review requirements that apply to them. Halotir Labs supplies materials and analytical documentation; experimental design, compliance, and conduct rest entirely with the researcher.
